How print product warehousing works

Choose your print products
Go for the products that sell the best in your store. You can also choose postcards and stickers from our catalog and stock those as pack-ins to add to your customer orders as freebies.

Place an order
Register or sign in to your Printful account. Add a minimum of 25 items to your order. Feel free to select different products and sizes as long as you meet the minimum.

Pick the warehouse
In the Shipping step of the order checkout, tick the box under Stock these products with Printful's Warehousing & Fulfillment services and choose the warehouse where you want to store your items. You can only stock Printful products in the warehouse facility they’re fulfilled in.

Set up your inventory
To follow your stock levels after fulfillment, set up your inventory in the same Shipping step of order checkout. Add items to your warehouse inventory as new products or linking them to existing ones in your inventory.

Complete the order
Review the inventory setup and your order, then click Pay securely now to start the fulfillment process. That’s it—your order is finished!

Sit back while we print and stock your products
We’ll move the ordered products to your warehouse inventory after fulfillment and let you know when you can list the products on your store.

Storage and fulfillment pricing
The monthly storage fee rate depends on the warehousing location. For the US warehouse, it’s a fixed price of USD 0.70/cubic foot.
For all other warehousing locations, the fee is based on the amount of space your stock takes, measured in cubic feet:
- 1–25 cubic feet = USD 1.60 / EUR 1.40 / GBP 1.30 / CAD 2.20 per cubic foot
- 25–300 cubic feet = USD 1.25 / EUR 1.10 / GBP 1.05 / CAD 1.70 per cubic foot
- 300+ cubic feet = USD 0.80 / EUR 0.70 / GBP 0.65 / CAD 1.00 per cubic foot
The minimum monthly storage cost for Printful-made products and branding items (custom packaging and pack-ins) is USD 25.00 / EUR 22.00 / GBP 20.00/ CAD 35.00. Even if the items you store don’t take USD 25 worth of storage space, you still have to pay the minimum cost of USD 25 per month.
For any non-Printful products you stock in our warehouses, the minimum monthly storage cost is USD 150 / EUR 150 / GBP 135 / CAD 210.

Order fulfillment costs cover the work to process your customer’s order, pick the item from warehouse shelves, and pack the order for shipping. The order fulfillment costs are charged per order including an item from the warehouse—be it a pack-in or a product.
Orders with pack-ins
If the order contains a pack-in from the warehouse:
- $0.50 picking fee per pack-in
For example, you include 2 pack-ins in your order, you’ll pay $1.00 in picking fees.
Orders with products
If the order contains a product from the warehouse:
- $1.80 fulfillment fee per order
The fee is charged per order, so even if your order contains 2 products, you’ll still pay $1.80 for it. - $0.95 picking fee per product
For example, an order with 2 products from the warehouse will have a $1.90 picking fee. - $0.10–2.50 packaging material fee per order
The fee varies depending on the product dimensions and fragility. Most of the packaging is under $0.50 with some exceptions for large boxes and card envelopes.
If an order contains both pack-ins and products from the warehouse, then all the above fees apply.

Couple of things to know
Warehouse storage availability
You can only stock Printful products in the warehouse of the facility they’re fulfilled in. Place separate orders if you want to split your print product stock across multiple locations.
Product limitations
Almost all of our products are available for stocking in warehouses, but there are some limitations. Check the full list of Printful products that can’t be stored in our warehouses.
