Our CO₂ footprint in 2025

We track our corporate carbon footprint to understand the full impact of our products, reduce emissions, and support global climate action.

Key findings from our 2025 GHG emissions inventory:

 1. Scope 3 activities account for 95% of our total emissions – typical for consumer goods companies.
 2. The remaining 5% falls into Scopes 1 and 2, mostly tied to Printful's in-house fulfillment centers.
 3. Within Scope 3, 57% comes from purchased goods and services, 22% from outbound transportation and distribution, and 8% from end-of-life treatment of products. The remaining 13% comes from other Scope 3 categories.

Switching to renewable electricity

In 2025, 39% of Printful's electricity came from renewable sources, and five of our facilities – including our newly relocated offices in Riga, Latvia – now run on more than 95% clean power. This shift saved 1,464.4 metric tons of CO₂ across our operations in 2025 – more than half of the emissions generated by our total energy consumption that year.

But there's still work to do. Some sites rely on a mix of renewable and non-renewable sources, and some operations still use propane gas. We're working toward powering all our European production facilities with clean energy by the end of 2026, while reducing overall consumption and improving efficiency across all operations.

Efficient shipping

In 2025, 85% of Printful's orders were delivered in the same region where they were fulfilled. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good both for the business and the planet. Strategically located fulfillment centers enable faster shipping times and lower shipping costs, and they also help reduce CO₂ emissions from transporting orders.
