What’s embroidery digitization and do I have to pay for it?

Digitization is a process where we convert your design into a file our embroidery equipment can understand. This process involves formatting the stitch type, stitch density, and color—all the details our machines need to recognize and embroider the design exactly as you imagined it. Embroidery digitization requires a one-time payment of $6.50 or $3.95 if you create the design in our Design Maker. You can reuse the digitized design as many times as you like.

Can I use my own digitized file?

No, we don’t accept embroidery files that have been digitized elsewhere because these files still need to be adjusted to work with our embroidery machines.

Can I place group orders for embroidered shirts?

Absolutely! With MerchShare , you can easily place group orders for embroidered shirts and other products. Create a personalized embroidered shirt design template and share the link with your friends or colleagues. Members can select their preferred shirt size, color, and shipping destination. How do I clean embroidered shirts?

Before washing, turn your shirt inside out. Then, machine-wash it in cold temperature on a gentle cycle. After washing, don’t wring the shirt, just hang it to dry. You can also dry-clean embroidered shirts.

Where can I put embroidery designs on my custom shirts?

You can go for the left chest, smack in the center, left sleeve, right sleeve or for some shirts, add a larger design in the center. You can also mix things up and add direct-to-garment (DTG) designs on the back too.

Are there size rules for where I place my embroidery designs?

Yep! Each spot has its own size guidelines to make sure it looks as good a possible. When you drop your design into our Design Maker , it will show you the best size for where you want it.
