Printful online conference—How design can help you run a successful ecommerce business

Mar 24, 2022

Charlotte, North Carolina—Printful is hosting the sixth Printful Threads, a free online conference for ecommerce store owners, on March 31, 1–3 p.m. (PST). Entrepreneurs, plus experts from Shopify and Printful, will participate as speakers during the upcoming event.

The sixth edition of Printful Threads will explore store design principles to help business owners build brand trust, increase sales, and optimize their checkout process. McKinsey & Company found that businesses that adopt good design practices have 56% higher total shareholder returns and 32% higher revenue. Good design impacts financial performance, which is why Printful believes it’s important for business owners to stay on top of their designs.

The conference will feature Shopify’s Sr. Merchant Engagement Manager Jenneviere Villegas, who’ll share over a decade worth of ecommerce experience with participants. She’ll teach viewers how they can use store design principles to improve their store sales and customer trust. Shopify powers millions of businesses across the globe, helping people achieve independence by making it easier to run their own stores. Jenneviere manages two of her own businesses on the side and is passionate about teaching other entrepreneurs how to succeed.

The UI/UX and graphic designer Leons Flanders from Printful will teach participants how to use design to optimize their checkout process. Viewers will get to learn from Leons’s experience creating designs for multiple types of ecommerce projects and clients. He enjoys his work and is excited to share his knowledge with others during the conference.

Taylor Redler will discuss the process behind how she turns her abstract paintings into digital textiles. Taylor runs her own business called visceral home, and is passionate about art and sharing her works with others. Taylor uses her creations to practice and encourage healthy coping skills—inspiring open conversations about mental health and addiction stigmas. She turns her paintings into textiles, allowing their stories to live on.

The event has served as a platform for business owners, ecommerce professionals, and marketing specialists from companies like Wix, Privy, and Fast Company. Previous Printful Threads conferences have covered topics from creating marketing and ad campaigns to launching an online business and getting your first sales.
