Within a year, Printful doubles its number of printed products and grows to a 1,000+ people team

Print-on-demand company Printful has reached a milestone of 20 million printed products while expanding the team to more than 1,000 employees worldwide. In April 2019, the company celebrated 10 million printed products, meaning that within a year Printful has grown exponentially, doubling the number of fulfilled items.

Compared to 2018, when Printful reached $77.4 million in revenue, in 2019, the company hit $116 million—the fashion industry and print-on-demand is seeing a shift toward customized clothing.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, online shopping has become even more popular, as many people shop online instead of going to brick-and-mortar stores. Ecommerce businesses around the world have been embracing the online shopping trend, and more people are opening their own online stores every day. This shift has also contributed to Printful's growing number of printed items.

In the span of 7 years, Printful has launched more than 230 products, including clothing, home & living items, and accessories. All of Printful's products are customizable with methods including direct-to-garment printing (DTG) and embroidery. DTG is the most popular method that's used for producing the majority of Printful's products.

Printful is focusing on an eco-conscious business model and will continue in this direction. Printful plans to add new eco-friendly products to their catalog. In February 2020, they added unisex organic cotton t-shirts and tote bags, and they are preparing to launch eco-friendly phone cases in July.

Printful is committed to keep growing together with the global market. In early June, Printful opened its second Europe fulfillment center in Barcelona, and later this year a brand new fulfillment center will start its work in Canada.
