Sustainability and Responsibility at Printful

Getting better one print at a time

On-demand production is part of the overproduction solution

The apparel industry faces a sustainability problem, with overproduction as one of the main contributors. A staggering 21% of produced textiles remain unsold and end up in landfills without ever being worn.

While Printful is part of the fashion world, we take measures to be part of the solution. We only make a product after a customer buys it, avoiding excess stock and reducing textile waste. We also invest in high-quality materials and best-in-the-industry equipment, so the result is top-tier quality products that can be used for a long time.

Why are we striving to do better?

Printful’s vision is to use technology to make on-demand production the norm for a planet with finite resources and people with infinite ideas.

We know that all the challenges in the fashion industry don’t have a quick fix. But sustainability matters to our customers, our team, and the planet. To see exactly how Printful addresses sustainability, look at the timeline for highlights and explore the People, Planet, and Products pages below.
