Covid-19 updates for Printful customers

Follow this page to learn the latest updates and what they mean for you

Along with the safety of our employees, our priority is to continue supporting online merchants. We think that it's especially important during these times to support our customers to work from home however we can.

This is a difficult time for everyone and we're working hard to adapt to this new reality. We'll continue to share information on this page, so check back often.

Latest update

July 1, 2020

Our LA facility is gradually resuming the fulfillment of our all-over print products, and our Riga fulfillment center is starting to return to its normal shipping flow. All our facilities are pushing the maximum order amount on the daily, and following the FIFO (first in, first out) principle as much as possible.

To manage order volume, we've disabled the option to add new products with slow fulfillment through our Product Push Generator: all-over print (worldwide) and DTG and apparel embroidery (US and Canada).

On June 18, we disabled the option to add any new embroidery products for customers in the US and Canada. We did this as a precautionary measure to prevent more backlog, taking cue from our experience so far.

The products already live on your store aren't affected, and we're still accepting incoming orders in all categories.

Here are 5 things we strongly encourage you do to keep your store running as smoothly as possible:

  • Explore the non-apparel category—some products are fulfilled in 4–8 bus. days

  • Target the European market—fulfillment is speeding up, especially for DTG

  • Put a temporary pause on adding new designs or products with slow fulfillment

  • Review our Covid-19 blog post on tips for speaking to customers about delays (templates included!)

  • Keep checking in with our latest updates and fulfillment estimates (note that our most popular categories are still taking the longest)

Customer Support emails still take 3–4 days, and our chat is available during US business hours on Mon–Fri. Our chat was offline June 20–28 to allow us to improve our email response time.

We'll continue posting updates as they come. Thank you for your patience and for reading.

Fulfillment estimate

Be prepared for delays

Our fulfillment times will be longer than usual, and may continue to increase until things get back to normal. The entire industry is grappling with challenges and we're seeing delays in our supply chain, including distributors and shipping carriers.
