Important things to keep in mind
Once your application has been approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation. Head over to your Printful Dashboard to find a new Affiliate section. There, you’ll be able to monitor your progress, request payouts, and find your unique affiliate link.
To not miss out on affiliate-related news and updates, make sure to check your Printful Dashboard, click Settings > Notifications > Updates to enable Affiliate newsletters and Affiliate guide.
You can be a Printful Affiliate for as long as you’d like. You’ll earn a 10% commission from every order made by customers you referred for a period of 12 months*. You can start withdrawing your earnings via PayPal once you’ve earned at least $25.
*The 12-month period is for each referred customer and starts only when the first order has been fulfilled and shipped by Printful.
The commission structure of the Printful Affiliate Program is based on a revenue share. You receive a share of the money your referred customers have spent on Printful products and services.
- B2B—earn a 10% commission for 12 months from each order of a store that is created by using your affiliate link.
- B2C—earn a 10% commission for every one-time purchase or anonymous order that is made through your affiliate link.
- Warehousing & Fulfillment—earn 10% commission on fulfillment fee and picking fee per item.
- Printful memberships—earn $25 for each first-time Printful Growth subscription bought by your referred customers.
The formula for calculating your commission is:
10% of (product price-product discount)
Let’s say the customer you referred placed the following order:
Product $15.00
Product discount -$2.00
Here, your commission will be 10% of $13.00 = $1.30
When creating blog articles, social media posts, videos, or any other online content that features your Printful affiliate link, whatever you publish must be in line with our brand image and in keeping with Printful’s Terms of Service, especially Acceptable Content Guidelines.
- You’re restricted from using keywords that include our brand name: Printful, The Printful, printful.com, or any variation or combination therein for SEO and PPC ads.
- If you are sending paid traffic (PPC, PPV, Media Buys) to Printful, it is required that you send the traffic through a landing page or web property first. We do not allow direct linking.
- You must also not knowingly serve ads that appear in a higher position than Printful-managed ads.
Your account can be suspended temporarily or permanently if Affiliate Terms of Service are violated. In case of suspension, you’ll be informed via email by an affiliate manager. One of the main things to keep in mind is that we don’t approve of self-referrals. It means you can’t refer yourself to Printful and earn commissions from your own store.
Yes, you need to be compliant with the US Federal Trade Commission guidelines regarding affiliate disclosure. The US Federal Trade Commission requires that you properly disclose your relationship with the business you’re endorsing. If you fail to disclose this relationship, either you or the business you’re endorsing could get fined.
