Frequently asked questions
You’ll get an email confirmation, and a new Affiliate tab will appear in your Printful Dashboard where you can access your unique affiliate link, track your referrals, and request payouts.
Check your Printful Dashboard often to keep up with affiliate-related news. Click Settings > Notifications > Updates to enable Affiliate newsletters and Affiliate guide.
It usually takes 2–5 business days after submitting your application.
You earn 10% commission on each referral’s orders for 12* months after their first purchase. You can withdraw earnings (minimum $25) via PayPal in USD. Payouts are processed 1–3 business days after your request.
Payouts are flexible. You can either get paid monthly or anytime you reach $25 via PayPal.
*The 12-month period is for each referred customer and starts only when the first order has been printed and shipped by Printful.
No, it applies only to eligible orders and first-time Growth plan subscriptions. Sample orders, free trial upgrades, and repeat Growth subscriptions don’t count.
Unlike other affiliate programs with complex rules or dynamic commission tiers, Printful keeps it simple with flat-rate commissions and clear exclusions.
The cookie lasts 30 days. If a visitor clicks your link and makes a purchase within that time, you get credit.
Printful’s Affiliate Program is based on a 10% revenue share. You earn a percentage of what your referrals spend on Printful products and services.
- Business-to-business (B2B): 10% for 12 months on all orders from stores created via your affiliate link.
- Business-to-customer (B2C): 10% on one-time or guest orders through your link.
- Printful Growth plan: $25 for every first-time subscription from your referrals.
The formula for calculating your commission is:
10% of product price (minus the product discount, if applicable)
Let’s say the customer you referred places the following order:
Product $15.00
Product discount -$2.00
Here, your commission will be 10% of $13.00 = $1.30
Printful stands out from other printing affiliate programs by offering both product-based commissions and bonuses for subscriptions.
When promoting Printful with your affiliate link, everything must be in line with our branding asset rules and follow our Terms of Service and Acceptable Content Guidelines.
- Don’t use “Printful,” “The Printful,” “printful.com,” or similar variations as keywords in SEO or PPC ads.
- If you send paid traffic (like PPC or media buys), link to your own landing page first.
Direct links to Printful aren’t allowed. - You must also not knowingly run ads that appear in a higher position than Printful-managed ads.
Your account can be suspended temporarily or permanently if you violate our Affiliate Terms of Service. If you get suspended, we’ll inform you via email by an affiliate manager.
One of the main things to keep in mind is that we don’t approve of self-referrals. It means you can’t refer yourself to Printful and earn commissions from your own store.
Yes. You’re required to clearly disclose your affiliate relationship, per FTC guidelines, when promoting Printful.
