Printful launches Printful Pro—a paid subscription plan for additional software tools
Oct 27, 2020
Charlotte, North Carolina—Printful has launched a paid plan with a set of new software tools called Printful Pro. Printful Pro includes tools for removing image backgrounds, generating marketing materials, and more.
Printful Pro is a package of SaaS tools for merchants that are doing business with Printful. Currently, Printful Pro includes features for removing image background, creating marketing materials, and it also offers a library of 400 exclusive clipart images as well as other extras. Previously, online store owners turned to outsourced tools for these solutions, but starting today it's possible to get more of what they need through Printful. The paid plan also offers a trial period of 14 days.
Printful has a strong tech-oriented background. Since the founding of the company, Printful has done more than just printing. The team has built integrations, created a mockup generator, as well as developed other tools. Printful Pro will serve as a hub for new software launches.
As the company continues to experiment with creating new IT-oriented tools, the Printful Pro offering will increase. Printful's IT team currently makes up around 10% of the whole company, and they plan to hire at least 100 new IT professionals during the next year.
Even with the launch of this service, the company plans on keeping Printful's core platform free of charge for anyone interested in starting an ecommerce business. Printful values small online business owners and will continue supporting this community.
“At Printful, we strive to provide an A–Z ecommerce service. To continue developing the best possible tools for our customers, we're constantly scaling our IT team—around 10% of our employees work in IT. We're excited to launch Printful Pro—it's the next step to expand our software offering,” says Davis Siksnans, CEO and Co-founder of Printful.
