Printful invests $1.5 million in printing tech as it transitions to use Kornit printers for DTG apparel

May 31, 2017

Printful will soon print all DTG apparel exclusively with industry-leading Kornit printers, an upgrade which cost the print-on-demand dropshipping company $1.5 million in 2017.

Printing with the same kind of printer streamlines the fulfillment process. With one method and one production flow, orders will be fulfilled more efficiently and graphics will print more consistently. This improves the overall customer experience.

Printful has been slowly acquiring Kornit printers over time and they are already used for the majority of DTG orders. Kornit printers are considered the best in the industry and Printful is pleased to use them exclusively.

Printful expects to fully transition to Kornit printers by June 30th.
