These aren’t bad for novelty board shorts, but to capture a bigger and better audience. The fabric needs to be changed to a 2 to 4 way stretch and a thinner fabric. This fabric stays wet for hours after swimming and does not stretch or give much.
Their elastic added into the sideways takes away from these being true board shorts. I personally would like to see the elastic removed so the board shorts stay on while swimming surfing, body surfing wakeboarding any active event in the water with this elastic and no string that goes all the way around they will come off.
The string tie on the front of the board Shorts needs to be tacked down to the fabric, so if it comes untied in the water, you don’t lose the full string. If this string comes untied while moving around, it will slip out and it will be gone string needs to be tacked down to Fabric.
The side slot pockets aren’t my favorite, not like a true board, short more of a hybrid between a walk short and board short with the thickness of the fabric and the side pockets. Side pockets are a deal killer but it would be more of a true board short without the side pockets.
The hymn Stitch at the Leg opening, needs to be closer to the edge, not such a big gap between the fold and the stitching
As well on the string tie, you should lose the metal tips on the string. It will damage things. This will rust. They are not good on board shorts switched to a rubber or plastic wrapped tip.
The sublimation/printing is spot on and well done.
Would love to see some of these corrections done to the board short you guys are offering I have quite a few clients who would love to do board Shorts but I’m not quite sure I would offer this one to them
