Feb 4, 2015
Users of Bigcommerce now have the option to integrate their stores to have their print products automatically printed and shipped by Printful. This is the first print fulfillment application available for Bigcommerce, a company that's experience rapid growth this year, attracting $75 million in investments and has added Amazon, Twitter, PayPal and Google high-profile employees to the team.
As the first automatic print fulfillment application to integrate, Bigcommerce users will now be able to hook up their store to Printful, and send all print product orders directly to be automatically printed and shipped.
Adding automatic print fulfillment to the Bigcommerce options marks a change in the opportunities for Bigcommerce users and potential users. They are now available to create a profitable online business with nothing else other than their Bigcommerce store and a print design, eliminating the need for keeping stock, dealing with shipping, and up front payments for purchasing the products. As an on-demand service, the vendor is only changed once an order has come into their store. Thus, vendors only stand to make a profit.
Printful is an on-demand print fulfillment company founded in 2013 by Lauris Liberts, and is one of the many startups in the Draugiem Group. The Draugiem Group is based in Riga, Latvia, however Printful is based in Chatsworth, California. Printful is completely bootstrapped, having received no external investment.
