Millian is a fashion designer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She’s also the founder of Millian Couture, a luxury casual streetwear brand that walked the runway at New York Fashion Week.
Millian talked to us about her experience at NYFW and why partnering with Printful let her rest easy and focus on making noise around her brand.

When starting her brand, it was important for Millian to make it easy to get her ideas and products in front of customers. After some searching, she found Printful and grew intrigued by our cut-and-sew collection. She hadn’t come across other print-on-demand providers that offered cut-and-sew products on demand.

Millian was also drawn to Printful’s Design Maker and how it allowed her to easily preview designs before ordering them. With the Design Maker, you get a 360-degree view of your products so you get a feel for how they’ll look in real life.
Millian Couture is built around a community of fans she affectionately calls her millianheirs. They play an important role in the brand, helping it get to New York Fashion Week in the first place. Millian makes sure to regularly involve her fans and get their opinions on what kind of products they're interested in.

It’s important that Millian Couture products make their mark, and that the branding is prominently featured. Millian got both with Printful—quality products and various placements for the logo, including on inside labels.
New York Fashion Week is a chance for up-and-coming fashion designers to get their names out there and shout to the world that they’re the ones to watch. It’s an incredible, yet high-stakes opportunity, and Millian knew that Printful could be trusted to get the job done.
A model for Millian Couture walking the runway
Millian was happy with the quality of her products. She didn’t have to worry about stains, misprints, or unraveled seams. She could also add branding to the front and back of her hoodies, which isn’t something she could have easily done with other providers.
“Printul had the highest quality products, so I knew from the very beginning I was going to use [them] in the fashion show.”
For Millian, New York Fashion Week was a success, with the Millian Couture brand making a splash.
Nora has been part of the Printful team since 2015. She has spent the last several years writing content, coordinating communications projects, and helping customers learn about ecommerce. Now as Printful's Brand Manager, she gets to use her experience and knowledge in new and challenging ways.
